What is offered
The National Center of Excellence in Language Pedagogy (NCELP) will run Continuing Professional Development courses throughout 2022. These will focus on the design and pedagogy of modern foreign language (MFL) programs and will consist of five 2.5 hour distance learning sessions spread over one term. This is complemented by online peer and instructor support.
Who can join the course
The course is accessible either:
- qualified teachers involved in MFL teaching who work at an eligible school that teaches at least one of the following:
- a publicly funded, university-based or SCITT-based teacher trainer who provides instruction to secondary school teachers in pre-service or training in French, German or Spanish
You must work at a school that receives public funding to be eligible. Private and independent schools are not eligible.
The course may interest:
- heads of modern foreign languages departments
- heads of department or subject of trust
