Aligarh: The resource people clearly explained the benefits of acquiring new languages ​​in an increasingly interdependent and hyper-connected world.

The deliberations were part of a three-day online lecture series on “Foreign Language Learning: New Approaches and Dimensions” of the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of International Studies, Aligarh Muslim University ( AMU).

Professor Mohd Azhar (Department of West Asian Studies) pointed out: “It goes without saying that knowledge of foreign languages ​​reduces intercultural gaps. “A person’s ability to speak multiple languages ​​other than English is a valuable tool and skill for new-age employers. It is high time for students across the country to prioritize foreign language learning in order to advance their careers,” Professor Rakshanda F Fazli (Department of West Asian Studies) said in the keynote speech. ‘goodbye.
