ROCKLAND – The Rockland-based non-profit Penobscot Bay Language School welcomes back Alain Ollier, former PBLS French instructor from Maine-based non-profit Veggies to Table to host a Macaron cooking class on September 10, 2022 at Penobscot Bay Language School. Also present at the event, a “pop-up” flower shop in the beautiful courtyard and gardens of the Penobscot Bay Language School at 28 Gay Street Rockland at 10 a.m., featuring bouquets of fresh-cut Maine flowers with Erica Berman of Veggies to Table Farm.
Veggies to Table co-founder Alain Ollier, a native of France and a skilled baker, will be the instructor in the art of making the French macaron biscuit.
Join the staff and volunteers of Veggies to Table and Penobscot Bay Language School for this intimate, hands-on class and learn how to make these quintessential French treats. Not only will you have fun, but you’ll help Veggies to Table grow and donate even more products to those in need in our Midcoast communities. The cost is $60 (per session).
The group size for each session is limited to 6 participants. Sessions start at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. All participants will be sent home with their own small bag of macaroons.
