The opportunity to study abroad takes place from May 27 to June 24, 2023.
BRYAN, Texas — The Blinn University District invites students to immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of Granada, Spain by participating in a study abroad opportunity taking place next summer.
Blinn partners with Arcos Learning Abroad to offer students an unforgettable chance to learn the Spanish language and immerse themselves in the culture of one of the oldest cities in Spain.
During the study abroad experience, students will take two intermediate Spanish lessons while visiting historic sites, participating in cultural activities, and building relationships with host families.
“You won’t be able to play at a very smooth and comfortable level unless you’re immersed in the classroom,” said Blinn Spanish teacher Alex Garza. “For example, we teach a whole year of Spanish in a month, and when we come back, just with that month, the students can speak better than anyone who’s taken it here for a whole year.
The trip costs $3,820, which includes accommodation, meals, excursions and cultural activities. According to Blinn, students are responsible for tuition and airfare.
